Hinterland Escape Retreat

This stunning, palatial plantation-style property is set on 21 acres of pure serenity. Here, you can unwind, connect, and immerse yourself in an ambiance that nurtures both body and soul. Enjoy the resort pool, sauna, spa, ice baths, yoga studio, pool table, piano, outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace.

Inna Essence will be hosting our annual retreat at The Golden Whistler, nestled in the tranquil Sunshine Coast Hinterland of Montville from Friday 24th to Monday 27th October 2025.

This is an all-inclusive Retreat including all food, activities and accommodation; you’ll be cared for by Inna Essence owners Andrea and Anna, where the focus is on you.

The Retreat will include daily Yoga and Pilates sessions, a Sound Bath, workshops, pampering treatments as well as beautiful catered meals.

Shared rooms at The Golden Whistler include a combination of King Singles and King sized beds.

Driving up to the property there is a private 400-metre sealed driveway which incorporates a beautiful feature stone retaining-wall and is tree-lined on both sides separating two paddocks of pasture. Completely secluded with the house sitting high on the block and away from the road, it is perfectly positioned to capture 270 degree views of the incredible vistas with distant ocean views to the east.

Relax around the private pool, enjoy free Wifi, and private parking. The outdoor fireplace, pool table and spa provide many different places to connect with the Retreat attendees

Located within 10 minutes’ drive of the Blackall Range, The Golden Whistler Montville boasts an outdoor pool with a sauna. In-room amenities include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, while there are also air conditioning. Along with a sofa and a work desk, the interior features a stone fireplace. This villa offers a separate toilet, a bath, and a shower, as well as comfort amenities such as a hairdryer and bath sheets.

Guests may enjoy the convenience of coffee and tea making facilities, a gorgeous large kitchen for catered meals and relax in the spacious loungeroom.

This 6-bathroom villa has a Yoga Room, terrace for outdoor dining, Jacuzzi spa and a sauna.

I enjoyed the variety of classes and workshops. The length of each was perfect and all the instructors were fantastic.

Other retreats I’ve been on in the past have had too many workshop and classes all jammed in that can run for hours. This Retreat had the right balance of movement based classes vs learning workshops and free time.
